The Island Druid
The journey began for me in 1966 at the age of 12, and has been a life long journey of discovery.
Growing up as a child in Northern Ontario Canada, life though difficult due to economic conditions of my family was none the less my "wonder years". Growing up in the Northern part of Ontario during the 60's and 70's, surrounded by nature
, molded an appreciation for nature and the wonders of creation.
Adding to this, my father, when not working construction, was an avid hunter, trapper, prospector and woodsman who in his own way, despite knowing it, imparted a good amount of his knowledge to me, furthering in me a life long love of the woods, nature and the elements.
